Amber Stone is a Medieval, fantasy island located in the middle of the ocean.
It consists of three islands, with two main islands, where the vast majority of the population live.
Amber Stone [The First Island]
Amber Stone has thick patches of forests and large valleys throughout. Most of the island is rolling pains, and widely spread trees. In the center of the island there is a range of mountains.
There is a Human kingdom on Amber Stone that controls roughly 75% of the island. In the north of the kingdom, around the city of Rifgarr, the populace is getting restless, angry at high taxes. Taxed by King Aroden I, a middle aged man whose only object is the further of his power. The taxes come from the King’s current stalemate with the Eladrin, who exist on the other island almost entirely.
On the same island, multiple other races flourish as well. Around (And Inside) the mountains, Dwarves have massive cities, with only one being fully on the surface, named Drag’Tirr, which means ‘Dragon Lair’ in the Dwarven tongue, named after the old Dwarven Legend of the Sir Grimlar, defender of the Dwarven Union. Dragons are only a myth, but the city was originally built right where the myth was centered, leading the early settlers to name it so, also due to it’s occasional earthquakes, as it is near a fault line. They are led by King Ur’kal Drag, whose family name is Dragon.
Dwarves have multiple cities, but outsiders are truly only allowed in Drag’Tirr, for trade. Because of this, it is the capital of the Dwarven Union.
But there is another race, living in the mountains. The orcs. These large creatures have entire cities, built entire overground, and farther down the mountains. They are currently led by Warmaster Lagh. They are at war with the Dwarves, and frequently lead raids, though Dwarven ingenuity, and their defenses, have kept them out for years. Both nations have a very content population, convinced the war is the right way to go about things.
The Merpeople are led by Meress Freenda, a female mermaid who inherited the kingdom through her husband, who had a mysterious death a week after their wedding night. Mer kingdoms are mostly underwater, but there are five that are on the shore, 3 on the southern edge of Amber stone, and 2 on Utasia. Cities that are on land, have an interesting situation, with canals running alongside every walkway.
There are a few untamed tribes running around on the planes of Amber Stone.
There are a small number of enclaves of Eladrin and Elves, mostly in the east, which leads us to the next island, Utasia.
Utasia [The Second Island]
Utasia isn’t nearly as diverse as Amber Stone. The island is almost completely covered in thick, forest. The area is hilly, and there are a few small peaks in the center of the island, but the rest is forest, and rocky shoreline.
There are only two kingdoms on Utasia.
The first kingdom is the Elven Kingdom, led by King Arrondill. The elven kingdom has massive cities that move up the trees. They have substantial surface cities, but most climb up in the trees, where there bulk lies. It is currently at war with the Eladrin. The Elven Kingdom owns about 30% of the island.
The Second Kingdom is the Eladrin Confederacy, made of around 5 different tribes, who together formed a Confederate state. It is led by Lord Rees’Ken’Drar, who is Lord Regent, as the King is still only a few years old. It is at war with the Elven Kingdom.
Alegeasia [The Third Island]
Alegeasia is a hub of crime, with warlords and Crime lords ruling the island, with devastating turf wars consistently racking the island. The island has a population made almost completely of convicts, outcasts, and prisoners, who are shipped from the main islands, for ease. The island is mostly barren, but large cities exist, due to a small, commonly fought over part of the island that supplies food, and because of certain plants that were shipped over, that could withstand the harshness, and still be edible.
