Let's Start With The Basics
Name :: Fai Yamashita Nicknames :: Fai Age :: 18 Sex :: Female Race :: Untamed Class :: (Weak) mage [control over snow] Job :: Slave Sexual Orientation :: Heterosexual
Appearance
Eyes :: Green Hair :: Red Height :: 174 cm Weight :: 101 lbs Clothing Style :: She would like to wear more comfortable clothes that allow her to move about, but she's been left with only an off-yellow oversized shirt (like the one in her picture) and high-legged socks to keep dressed. Distinguishing features :: Tattoo on the inside of her wrist of 04-KU and a fox ears and tail. Play by :: Random art by Aka-Shiro on Deviantart
On The Inside
Likes :: Snow: She was born and raised high up in the mountains, and although she doesn't remember much of the time before she was enslaved, Fai has always had an affinity for cold, snowy conditions. Even ice is something that she enjoys. Being outdoors: Something about the fresh air, moist earth, and plant-life just makes her feel alive and free. Whenever she is outside, Fai feels calmer and more ready to handle anything. Sweet foods: It's a secret weakness, but add ripe fruit, honey, or sugar and this girl will probably fall for even the simplest of bait-traps. Both the smell and the taste top practically anything for her. Small children: Fai isn't sure if it's a born nature, of something instinctual, but she is very maternal. She enjoys being around small children, but as they get older she thinks that they should learn to take care of themselves. Rain: The sound of rain is very steady, very soothing, and reminds Fai of a time before she wound up serving other people. So she likes the sound of it-- so long as there isn't any thunder or lightning!
Dislikes :: Masters/Mistresses: She was not born into slavery and she does not like being a slave. As such, she doesn't like the people who she's supposed to serve under. Bitter Foods: Most poisons are bitter, and she's had a few run-ins with milder things that leave you sick in the past. As such, bitter tastes don't settle well with Fai, and often leave her physically nauseous. Dark Places: This is a more human trait of hers, but she doesn't like waking up alone in the dark. High Heat: She doesn't like extreme heat, and finds that she gets tired much quicker when the weather or temperature is hot. High Places: She is not a feline, and as such such she likes having both feet on the ground at all times. Strengths :: Great hearing: Foxes have amazing hearing, and can often hear their prey from very far away. This was a trait that the girl inherited, and it is very useful for tracking people around her and knowing when and where to make an escape. Great sense of smell: Foxes have over 200,000,000 scent receptors in their nose, and although Fai's sense of smell isn't that good, it's still quite impressive. She can track people and animals over long distances, and can also smell when people come within a certain distance. She can also detect certain poisons in food and drink based on smell. Agile, flexible, and a quick thinker: Fai is fast, she is flexible, and when put on the spot she can usually come up with an intelligent response quickly. This makes her a good tactical fighter, when need be. Weaknesses :: Slightly lower than average eye-sight: A fox's eye-sight isn't as good as it could be, and that was another trait that Fai inherited from her animal relatives. Strong Sense of smell and hearing: Because Fai has a much stronger sense of smell and better hearing than a normal human, strong smells or loud sounds that are too close by or too sudden can disorient and befuddle her. Physically weak: Although she's very agile and fast, her physical strength is lacking. She wouldn't be good in a combat situation, and she couldn't fight against a firm grip. She'd also really suck at arm wrestling. Weak against Spicy food: Eating spicy food is painful for her, and she hates doing it. If she finds herself with too much spice on the tongue, she'll often drop whatever she's doing simply because the pain she feels is too distracting. Fears :: Necrophobia: Who isn't afraid to die? Fai is afraid that one day she will loose her life too soon, and being around death and dead-things only remind her of it. This is a fear of Death and/or Dead things. Astrapophobia: Although her memory is suppressed through trauma, something about thunder and lightning sends the girl into a nervous, spiraling break-down. Her instinct is to hide, and generally closets, cabinets, under tables, and under beds make great places during violent (or not violent) storms. This is a fear of thunder and lightning storms. Cleisiophobia and Merinthophobia: Instinctively, Fai does not like being in locked places. Physical freedom is one thing she needs in order to think and act clearly in a circumstance. When she finds herself tied up or caged her reaction will often be violent and animistic. These are the fear of being locked in a confined place, and the fear of being bound or tied up. Hopes and Dreams :: She dreams of returning to her home, although she has no faith that her family still remains.
The Past
Family :: She had a mother and father, and an elder brother, but they fell to the illness that drew her out of the mountain in the first place. History :: She was born high up in the mountains, in a snowy region, to a rather small pack of predominantly fox-untamed. Her direct family wasn't necessarily high up in the back structure, but her mother and father did their share of work taking care of the pack, which included Fai Yamashita and her elder brother, Sen. Until the age of 4 her life was simple as hunt, play, learn, survive. And when everybody looked out for everybody, that worked quite well. But it was not to last. That year the winter was particularly harsh and many of the pack was pushed back into the more forested regions. The game wasn't as good, and although it was easier to take shelter under the trees, they served as a danger as well. It was one chilled night when a horrible thunderstorm struck, and a huge forest fire was started by a bolt of lightning. Although several of the pack who had been out patrolling died, most who were in the den came out physically unscathed. Being so young, the emotional damage was incredible, however. After that things became somewhat better. The pack collected itself and was eventually able to move back into the old territory. After five years, when Fai turned nine, many of the pack became ill, including Fai's elder brother and her parents. Afraid that the few healthy members of the pack would also fall to the illness, they were cast out by the pack leader.
Sent away from the mountain, things became much more difficult. Fai tried her hardest to keep up, but she soon became separated from the others. It was for the better, seeing as she came upon their remains later that day. The mauling had been brutal, and there were no survivors. Now the sole survivor of her pack, as far as she knew, Fai was determined to survive. She made it to the bottom of the mountains where she passed out. From there she moved to petty thieving to survive. that lasted for almost ten years, but she was caught. Caught and thrown into a cage. Not knowing what was going on and scared well out of her wits, she fought but had no chance of escaping. And then she was sold. Sold to INSERT NAME HERE.

It drew me in, then the story looked interesting <3 So, I decided to chat. I like the people, so I decided the join! Sample RP post :: Fawn ran; she had been running a lot, it seemed, these last few days. At least since the time that she had run all the way from the manor.
Seeing him there. Well, she certainly didn't leave time for goodbyes. Instead she bolted into Aleth's old room (where she had been locking herself away when she wasn't about wandering), grabbed her veil, and began running; fleeing the mansion at any costs. And by the time she was so exasperated she could hardly breath she had wound up in town. That was when it had dawned on her: with no money, no weapons, and no way to really mask the scent that would probably lure any vampire in the area to her (not to mention her being a gypsy, which didn't seem to be well liked in the area) she could wind up in some deep problems. So she needed a room at the inn. For that she needed money, and for that she needed a job.
It was harder than she thought, finding a job, and when she finally got one working as a cleaner for some filthy old shop which didn't look like it had served people in years she almost regretted her choice. By the end of her first day she was in pain, both physically and emotionally. The constant yelling and insults, having to scrub the floor with nothing more than a damp cloth... it was like she was back with the vampires all over again. The few coins which were dropped into her hand at the end of the night seemed hardly worth it; not even enough to buy a meal. So that night she slept out, rather bitterly, in the cold alleyway, huddling between some boxes in fear that somebody might find her.
The next week continued like that, and it wasn't until the third day that she could rent a mediocre room at the inn for two nights; she realized quickly that she would probably be spending just as much time outside at night as she did in; she'd have to save her money for the rainy and cold seasons, or else she'd have a hard time just surviving. So every day she was back in that shop, working herself until she almost passed out and then some. Every day only a few copper dropping into her palm to show for her labor. At the same time she was lucky, though; her boss never failed to brag about his 'kindness'. After all, he had allowed a dirty, wretched, cursed, gypsy brat to survive by giving her a job; as a slave laborer.
Back to where she was at the beginning, though; running. Yes she was running. And for her life, she feared. Although she was quite small, she simply wasn't as small as she had been back when she could steal bread like nobody else; that, and it seemed having a gypsy in the area simply put all the shop keepers on edge. And now one was running behind her, with a very sharp looking blade, shouting that he'd slice her open and rip the bread from her stomach. Of course, that was rather impossible, but the intent was clear. The small pouch of coins made no sound, sitting soundly in their own little pocket in her dress; yes she had the money for the bread, but she had to save that so that she could have board in the winter; if she froze she could very well die. She was lucky, though; although the shop owner was strong, she was light and nimble, much faster and more balance than he.
Turning sharply into an alley she leaped up, landing on a wooden crate before she pushed off again, jumping up and over the wall of crates which blocked the alley way off. Pausing a moment on the other side to hungrily stuff the remaining bread into her mouth, she chewed, swallowed, and took off running again. People stayed out of her way; her stained face and attire warning them of her heritage. It's not like I could curse them or anything. she thought, slightly irritated, but she knew that she should be thankful for the unblocked passage. She had been fired earlier that day, when a customer actually came in, saw her then left. Yes, so apparently Gypsies really weren't good for business.
Anything else? :: I'll be in your care! ;D
